Connective Rising
What is Connective Rising?
Mission
A growing non-profit located in Pasco County, Florida.
Our mission is to connect neighbors and strengthen our communities by passing down skills and wisdom, sharing resources, while reclaiming and repurposing usable items. By working with what is already available locally, we create opportunities for future generations to find jobs, start businesses, or acquire existing businesses from retiring owners.
Vision
We are a local organization, where generations connect to share knowledge and resources that create new opportunities.
How We Rise Together
Foundational 5 Rs
The foundation of the organization is based on years of scouting: leave a place better than you found it, protect the earth and environment, reducing waste, and leave a positive legacy.
1 - Resources
Sharing not only food and supplies in our community and through our connections, but also creating spaces where neighbors and emerging entrepreneurs can share knowledge and ressources to save money.
2 - Reclaim
Reducing waste by redistributing unwanted items to the people and charities who can use them.
3 - Restore
Teaching people to repair what others discard, turning skills into trades and jobs.
4 - Renew
Putting the knowledge of older generations into the hands of next generations to preserve what they know, so they can build upon it for the future.
4 - Revitalize
Strengthening communities through education and support focused on Community Centered Commerce focused on cooperatives and collectives, employee and community ownership, and keeping businesses local when owners retire.
